APP FEATURES.
Connect My Family combines all of these features together into one app:
• Calendar. Set up reminders for the little things to help ensure that life runs smoothly. Reminders about birthdays, visits, or rubbish collection or doctor’s appointments. This functionality can be turned off if you don’t need it.
• Medicine. Schedule reminders for family or group members to take medicine and let others know that all is on track by clicking when you have had your dose. This functionality can be turned off if you don’t need it.
• SOS. In an emergency, hold down the SOS button for 5 seconds and a text message with the location of the phone will be sent to pre-programmed emergency contacts. Always know where your family are if there is an emergency.
• Services. Arrange practical and useful help for family in South Africa from wherever you are. Tell us what your family needs and when they need it and Connect My Family will organise everything. You need to subscribe for a nominal monthly fee to access the services and the cost of the service will be charged to you.
• Weather. See the weather for each of your family members in one place.
• Messages. Set up instant group chats or chat on a one to one basis. Send photos or videos or emoji’s! Keep in touch with growing grandchildren even when they live in another country.
